"Oro??!!" As wierd as it sounds, this word/sound/expression is actually the source of humour in this anime. It is a famous word said by kenshin when there is a cofusion or something wierd has occurred. The filler episodes are the funny ones. There are many with Kouru on the verge of killing the three men for living off her without much contributions to the household except kenshin. Ken-san does HOUSEWORK!! It is side-splitting enough to see kenshin the greatest swordsmen wearing an apron or doing the laundry. One reason this anime is enjoyable is the fact that it isn't too heavy. As kenshin meets many opponents and get into many life-endangering battles, the anime does not bombard the audience with one death battle after another without any breather in between.

Animefreakzzz's Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Tv Review

The humour in tsubasa come mainly from Fye and Mokona. The group's maskot, Mokona is a very adorable bun-shaped creature with rabbit ears...mokona is more or less the main comic relieve in the whole series as she pairs up with Fye to tease about kurogane. Mokona can also be rather endearing at time too as she bounces from fye to kurogane and hides in their clothes during battles. Tsubasa is enjoyable as viewers tend to look forward to the next world they are travelling as the different worlds are truly facsinating. Viewers are to be prepared to some pleasant surprises along the way. The anime give one a pleasant feeling as the anime is not too stressful on the brain juice. It flows along smoothly with nothing too drastic and this makes the viewers being able to watch in a lean back manner.

Boy...the humour is there!! It is more obvious in the beginning of the anime before things start to get more complicated. I think the story is quite original and I especially like that the homunculus was named after the seven deadly sins. Lust, sloth, greed, gluttony, wrath, pride, envy. Very sleek indeed. Alchemy itself is by far a very intriguing subject for me. Not only that, I agree about the rules of alchemy. Especially the part about equivalent trade. In the anime, we get to look at science versus religion, racial discrimination, fights between authority for power and many many more issues. The show is very enjoyable as the revelations come one by one. It is at a rate whereby the audience can digest it slowly.
